CCM to Host Study Session on Amendments to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act on 29 May (Closed)

Cadira Capital Management has organised a study session on the Partial Amendments to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law and the Law on Investment Trusts and Investment Companies, mainly targeting emerging asset managers, with Mr. Makoto Takamura from the Financial Services Agency as the lecturer.

The study session will begin with an overview provided by Mr Takamura of the bill submitted to the 213th Session of the Diet on 15 March 2024, followed by an exchange of views between the lecturer and the participants.

Explanatory material on the bill (in Japanese only): https://www.fsa.go.jp/common/diet/213/01/setsumei.pdf

We expect a lively exchange of views on the amendments, especially those related to promoting the entry of investment management companies, which we believe will be of great interest to participants. In addition, sharing the views of financial start-ups with the authorities will bring new perspectives to financial supervision, which will lead to the development of Japan's financial industry in the medium to long term. We look forward to your participation.
